Lolo discussed the situation of the Nigerian music in an interview with Hiptv.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not sure if they\u2019re passing any message because if you are looking at the content of music, what will you say you\u2019re buying? It\u2019s not that everybody talks crap but 97% of it has no meaning. \u2018Bangdadadang\u2019, what does that mean? \u2018Skibidipapap\u2019, doesn\u2019t have any meaning, \u2018Wo!\u2019, it\u2019s just play, we are just having fun. \u201cIt\u2019s not like the music of Obey, Barrister, Sunny Ade, they had depth, they had what they wanted to pass, even though we have people here in this current generation that are doing conscious music, Fela was a great advocate, he did a lot of social impact in music. But in this generation, i\u2019m not sure.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The relevance of the content in the popular music has always been a debate.
