Wife of popular Yoruba gospel Singer, Yinka Ayefele, has spoken about life as the wife of one of Yoruba’s most loved gospel artiste.<\/p>\n
Mrs. Temitope Titilope Ayefele, who spoke extensively in an interview said she had decided to spend the rest of her life with the singer before the accident. When it happened, she saw the will to survive in him. No one is above tribulations she said. All that is necessary is steadfastness and prayers, she added.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy name remains Temitope Titilope Ayefele. I am an Ibadan woman, born and bred. My father is Prof. Mathew Oladokun Fawusi and my mother is Mrs. Fawusi.<\/em><\/p>\n
I am from the popular Laamo Compound in Ibadan. I am from a moderate, cool background, we are not poor and we are not rich but comfortable.<\/em><\/p>\n
\u201cMy father was a Professor while my mum, a businesswoman. I grew up at Bodija area of Ibadan.<\/em><\/p>\n
\u201cI went to Kings Convent School for primary and my secondary school was Ibadan Grammar School, Molete, Ibadan.<\/em><\/p>\n
\u201cThen I went NCE, St. Andrew\u2019s College, Oyo then (1992-1995). I later went to U.I to study Economics Education (1996-2000).<\/em><\/p>\n
\u201cThose who really know me would tell you that I am not too loud or gentle, I\u2019m in-between. I have a large heart and I love people around me.<\/em><\/p>\n
\u201cI can\u2019t afford to be otherwise because of my husband\u2019s work. We have to be accommodating and that has been part and parcel of us.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
According to her, she met the singer in 1996, before he had the accident that confined him to wheelchair.<\/p>\n

\u201cI saw in him a hard-working man when we met. Very hard-working, there is nothing he can\u2019t do to stay afloat in his profession.<\/em><\/p>\n
\u201cHe is someone who doesn\u2019t get distracted from his dream no matter what may come his way.\u201d<\/em>
\nSo, what made her stay with him despite all odds?<\/em><\/p>\n\u201cWhy won\u2019t I stay? I told you about some of the qualities I saw in my husband that made me fell in love and married him.<\/em><\/p>\n
\u201cI have made up my mind to spend the rest of my life with him before the accident. When he had the accident we there together at the University College Hospital, Ibadan (UCH).<\/em><\/p>\n
\u201cI saw in him the determination to survive, to live and to make it in life. Those are the things that also motivated me to stay with him in the time of trouble and up till now.<\/em><\/p>\n
\u201cNobody is above trial and tribulations and when they come what one should do is to remain steadfast and be prayerful.<\/em><\/p>\n
\u201cBible didn\u2019t tell us that trouble would not come, it is bound to come but God has given us a strong assurance, He Is there to give us the grace to overcome.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
On whether he is active in bed, Ayefele’s wife said;<\/p>\n
\u201cWell, that is strictly my private life which can never be discussed on the pages of newspapers for no reason.<\/em><\/p>\n
