Its been an eventful few weeks for Big Brother Alumnus, Bisola Aiyeola. First, it was the passing of the father of her daughter, Malcolm Olanrewaju, then the big one, her AMVCA.<\/p>\n

In an interview with The Cable Lifestyle, the TV star spoke of how the past weeks have been emotional for her. Winning the AMVCA was a big one for her she said, but it would have been better if Malcolm was alive.<\/p>\n

Bisola says Malcolm was one of those that motivated her.<\/h3>\n

According to her, the father of her child has been one of her motivators and it would have been good for his to see her win.<\/p>\n

Excerpts below;<\/p>\n

Well, it\u2019s been a sad week for me but I\u2019m also happy that I\u2019m winning this,\u201d she told TheCable Lifestyle.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not just for me it is for my family, it is for people who have watched me grow and also those that have seen my journey.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cNotwithstanding it would have been beautiful if he (Malcolm) was around to see that I have won this because he knows a bit of the journey that I have been on but I\u2019m sure he\u2019s smiling down.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

On the growth of Nollywood, the actress said;<\/p>\n

How we can grow it further is by collaboration and it\u2019s important that many media houses, filmmakers come together to work as one.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cI keep using The Wedding Party\u2019s success as a reference, there were four companies that came together, Ebonylife Films, FilmOne, Inkblot Production, Koga Studios, so collaboration is the new competition. We shouldn\u2019t see each other as competitors.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cIt would help to bring in more funds, it would also help us to deviate from the clich\u00e9 that we are used to producing which is mostly drama, there so much money that can be made from the African movie industry, say for instance animation which is one sector that we haven\u2019t sampled at all.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cAction as well is something we are still working on we can\u2019t say we are totally competing with foreigners.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
