Veteran Nigerian singer, Daddy Showkey, has revealed that he is currently considering going into politics. According to him, his intentions are purely for the sake of his Ajegunle neighborhood.<\/p>\n
Politicians go into to Ajegunle to campaign but always neglect them when it’s time for development, he said. This was in an interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu’s Rubbin Minds where he spoke on crime rate in the community. Engaging children would curb crime rate, he said.<\/p>\n
One day\u2026yes now in my house. I\u2019m not doing it because of the intention that I want to run for politics but right now with the situation that I am seeing in my neighbourhood because Ajegunle is the most important place for me, maybe I might consider,\u201d he said.<\/em><\/p>\n
That area is like the come and use us for the campaigning when it comes to development they neglect us. That\u2019s why I\u2019m critical about what is going on in Lagos state today.<\/em><\/p>\n
