{"id":176,"date":"2017-09-12T13:02:12","date_gmt":"2017-09-12T12:02:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghafla.com\/ng\/?p=176"},"modified":"2017-09-12T13:02:12","modified_gmt":"2017-09-12T12:02:12","slug":"look-stepped-tail-viper-mr-easy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ng\/look-stepped-tail-viper-mr-easy\/","title":{"rendered":"Look who Stepped on the Tail of a Viper; Mr Easy"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Mr Easy is yet to see the last of Nigerian keypad warriors after he said Nigerian artists copy Ghanaian music style.<\/h2>\n<p>Banku Music pioneer, Mr Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, a Nigerian singer with the stage name Mr Eazi claimed that Nigerian artists are now found of using Ghanaian lexicons while recording their music.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with Capital Extra Mr Eazi said, 70% of Nigerian artist come to Ghana every year playing shows using words like: shitton, Mami, Sika, Oddo, Banku on shows and in the studio.<\/p>\n<p>He also claimed that most African Afrobeat Hiphop stars are all on the Ghana-Nigeria merger emphasizing with much relevance on Ghanaian music over Nigerian artist.<\/p>\n<p>In his words, \u201cThe speed at which I\u2019ve moved is scary to me\u2026cause it took my contemporaries five, six years, and that is what has been this year, if you want to count like five afrobeat, it\u2019s like everybody just realized that \u2018yo what formula is Mr Eazi using?\u2019 Ok we\u2019re gonna end up doing it.
