Rapper,\u00a0Folarinde Falana A.KA. Falz last week celebrated his birthday and stated he was 27 with the release of his album. Nigerians in reaction to this felt the rapper wasn’t saying the truth about his age as they insinuated that he was older. At the height of the uproar, Falz told those that doubted him that he could show his birth certificate.<\/p>\n
In this interview with Sunday Scoop, he said…<\/p>\n
“I just said it as a joke, I have not taken my birth certificate anywhere or shown anybody. I don\u2019t know why people think I\u2019m lying about my age. All I know is that I\u2019m doing well and I\u2019m happy with my life.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
On his new album, he said;<\/p>\n
I worked on the album for about a year, and when the time was right, I released it. The response has been very good. People love it and I\u2019m very excited about that.”<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Speaking of Marriage<\/h3>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t have plans for getting married right now. I\u2019ll let it come naturally; whenever God says it\u2019s the right time.<\/em><\/p>\n
