As the general elections draw near, Nigerian singer , Bankole Wellington, known as Banky W, has taken to social media to appeal to well wishers to support his campaign.<\/p>\n
One would recall that the singer recently announced his intention to run for the Eti Osa Federal Constituency House of Representatives. His announcement was met with mixed reactions, amidst positive response from his industry colleagues.<\/p>\n
He has however revealed that he intends to go on a house to house campaign. For this to come to life, he needs funds, he said.<\/p>\n
Highlighting the beginning of his journey, he revealed how he made his intention known to his wife. Initially, she didn’t quite lie the idea but finally, she gave her consent and her blessings, he said. He however, notes that he now needs the support of Nigerians, both within and outside the constituency he hopes to represent.<\/p>\n
