Singer turned politician, Banky W, has taken to social media to thank all those that supported him during his bid to become a member of the Federal House of Representatives.<\/p>\n
This was in an Instagram post, where he noted that he was able to pull a lot of weight. Thought he collation was still ongoing at the time of the post, the singer said he was able to win his polling unit.<\/p>\n
Under three months, without a godfather and sponsor. He, however, noted that this is only the beginning. The movement has just begun, he said.<\/p>\n
Thank you to EVERYONE who voted, volunteered and donated. Collation of all polling units in Eti-Osa is still ongoing, but regardless of the final outcome, please take a GOOD LOOK at how we won my polling unit in Lekki 1!!! No Godfather, logo issues, crowd sourced fundraising, online trolling.. many said we were wasting our time, but we took our unknown party and built our agent structure in less than 3 months \u2013 and we upset the big boys in multiple polling units.<\/em><\/p>\n
We proved that it CAN be done.<\/em><\/p>\n
The movement has begun. We must sustain this momentum. This is only the beginning.<\/em><\/p>\n
