Social media recently went agog over an alleged crash of\u00a0 actress, Mercy Johnson’s marriage. This was as a result the actress’ move to delete pictures from her Instagram page.<\/p>\n
Social media was quick to interpret her action to mean that there was crises between she and her husband, Prince Odi. The actress then moved to share a picture of herself and her husband reading the Bible as she debukned the rumour.<\/p>\n
Mercy Johnson is however not happy with bloggers as she describes such rumours as evil rumours from bloggers.<\/p>\n
The actress said this in an interview with NET where she assured fans that all is well in her home.<\/p>\n
She is quoted thus;<\/p>\n
I usually delete all the pictures on my page from time to time and this time around, I didn\u2019t just delete my husband\u2019s pictures, I deleted photos of me and my children. In fact, my husband is in shock at the drama emanating from social media.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
We had a photo shoot and of course you know the new year swag na, so I said to delete the old pictures I had which is what I do normally, na im e backfire oooo.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
She therefore assured her fans that all is well with her marriage:<\/p>\n
I will still celebrate 10 years with my sexy Odi by God\u2019s grace and I appreciate all my fans for expressing their concern over the issue. God bless you all\u201d <\/em>She said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
It is little wonder that fans interpreted her actions the way they did as it has become a norm for Nigerian celebrities to delete pictures of their spouses on social media as an indication of marital crises. Many even take a first step to unfollow their partners on social media. This has often served as a first indication that all is not well in the homes of celebrities.<\/p>\n
