According to the comedian, there was no pill he didn&#8217;t take in his fight against depression. It was then, he found out that no medication calms depression. He made this known at the suicide prevention initiative,<span style=\"color: #000000\"> Live and Not Die.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>He stated that he had ventured into several &#8216;things&#8217; that didn&#8217;t work out, this was the reason why he was thrown into anxiety and depression.<\/p>\n<p>His words below;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<blockquote><p><em>I have had suicidal tendencies. Last year, I tried several things, but they did not work out. It was not because the ideas were bad, but the people I was working with just didn\u2019t let them work out. Then anxiety and depression set in.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>It was then I realised that no drug could calm depression. There was hardly anyone I didn\u2019t take. There was a time I was sleeping on drugs.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>There was a particular yellow tablet that, if I took it on Tuesday, on Wednesday I would only be prompted to barely wake up, eat and go back to sleep even before I finished eating. I would not wake up until Thursday.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The initiative&#8217;s convener, Kunle Pelemo stated that the idea came to him after he had helped his friend through suicidal thoughts.
