No Booty Bouncing And An Ugly Midget! Why Victoria Kimani’s Booty Bounce Disappoints On Its Selling Point
There is one reason most of us cannot stop taking junk food regardless of the said carcinogens. It’s finger licking and yummy from the fried chicken, to fries to the red shiny nyama choma.
It feeds our natural animal lust. Sure, greens and fruits and low carb meals may be healthy but they will never be sold as finger licking, just healthy food. Why am I ranting about food at lunch time? Well, I feel cheated. Cheated because I was promised a product with the hype that had me expecting an African version of Anaconda. Come to think of it, a way better version of it because no one knows how to shake and bounce booty like African females.
Just ask those church mamas who were twerking in worship. So after all the social media hype promoting the video to be the second coming of the twerking, wining and booty popping rage, what does the beautiful Victoria Kimani give us?
A Nigerian midget and one plump woman in a supermarket…seriously!! Save for Victoria Kimani and the beautiful model in lustfully sashaying in mud, there was little else booty to look at leave alone bouncing.
Do not get me wrong, the song and video are great quality. In fact, I did not expect much to write about lyrically but was surprised that I actually listened the lines and kinda got hooked. The video shots are amazing and well spot on, only irrelevant to the song title and how it was sold.
Even the teaser had more going for it as far as booty bouncing is concerned. Even the well-endowed Victoria Kimani previously generous in her shaking became stingy leaving only her sculptured thighs to view. Call me a pervert if you will but the moment you say this video is about booty bounce I expect gorgeous booty generously gyrating in my face shot after shot after shot.
I expect something that would have people talking and sharing long after, a real celebration of the mesmerizing magic that is booty bouncing. Even Sauti Sol’s Shake Yo Bam Bam had more booty than this ‘Booty Bounce’ Even ‘Prokoto’ had more sexual appeal than this song. Though she may not fully agree to this but a good part of Victoria Kimani’s packaging is on her sexual appeal which makes the expectation of such an interestingly titled video higher. Unless maybe I watched an edited version and there is an explicit one somewhere coming soon, in that case, I wait patiently. Here is the video,
