Not Again! Lupita Annoys Kenyans With Her Feverish Statement

Yesterday, Larry Madowo caught up with Oscar award winning actress, Lupita Nyong’o, to shed light on her Kenyan visit. What Lupita told him rubbed Kenyans the wrong way!

For starters, Lupita is in the country to spearhead a campaign against poaching of the largest mammals on land.

Elephant killings have been on the rise and it’s for this reason that the Hollywood superstar is on a mission of saving the jumbos from eminent extinction.

NTV’s Larry Madowo sat down with Lupita to grill her about her role as the global envoy for elephants. But that part was irrelevant to most Kenyans since they only focused on her shocking revelation.

In the 15 minute interview, Kenyans paid keen attention on the part where she said she didn’t know how to cook the country’s staple delicacy, ugali.

“What do you mean you don’t know how to cook ugali! That’s terrible!” Exclaimed Larry Madowo after Lupita told her she was a novice in preparing ugali.

Her revelation has sparked angry and hilarious comments from Kenyans who were equally baffled.
