Official Launch of MPIGs Mini-Film Set For Tomorrow
When the first ever documentary highlighting the greed displayed by Kenyan legislators dropped online last Monday, it was overwhelmingly received as it received over 1000 YouTube hits in less than one week after being uploaded. And now, the brains behind the laudable project, rapper K-Nel has just announced the date of the official launch of the mini-film.
This Tuesday, all roads lead to Choices Bar on Baricho Road for the launch of MPIGs Mini-film starting from 7PM. The much hyped event is expected to bring together all the people that made the film happen among them photoactivist Boniface Mwangi. As usual it will not be a boring evening as there will be special performances by Vioxii Dede, Pace and Female Emcee Tessa.
The event will culminate in a real hip-hop event, dubbed “Hip Hop Rhapsody” where there will be no auto-tune, generic lyrics, or any mainstream. It is all about the the realness, from Slick Rick to Kendic Lamar, A Tribe Called Quest to Immortal Technique! It will be simply a night of pure hip-hop for all to come and enjoy.This will be headlined by DJ Lace and Man Njoro.
