Pastor Victor Kanyari has become a trending topic in Kenya since his foray into live sessions on TikTok. While some find his content entertaining, others criticize him for straying from religious teachings.
His recent interaction with socialite Chokuu has drawn particular ire. In an undated video, Chokuu hosted an online session where Kanyari participated.

Kanyari offered to deliver Chokuu from “evil spirits” through prayer, claiming it would help her find work. Chokuu, however, questioned how prayer could change her social life.
The situation escalated as Kanyari resorted to dramatic metaphors, invoking “machine guns” and “elephant bullets” to represent his prayers. This marked their second online encounter, with Chokuu previously making personal remarks that surprised Kanyari.
Kenyans have expressed disapproval in the comments section, urging Kanyari to return to his core duty of spiritual guidance.
