Police Officer Who Shot Herself In A Toilet At JKIA Honored With 21-gun Salute During Her Burial (Photos)
The late policewoman who blew her brains out in a toilet at JKIA was buried with full police honors.
The late Corporal Gaudencia Wausi Muinde, the policewoman who shot herself dead in a toilet at JKIA, was buried last Saturday in Kibwezi East, Makueni County.
The deceased had left suicide notes on social media a few hours before her lifeless body was discovered by a cleaner at JKIA.
Corporal Gaudencia was accorded an emotional send-off at her father’s home in Kibwezi, Makueni County.
The deceased’s colleagues in police force were tasked with giving her a sendoff befitting a fallen policeman/woman.
Corporal Gaudencia was honored with the traditional 21-gun salute before the casket carrying her remains was lowered into the grave.
Gaudencia is survived by her 8-year-old son Brian Nzambia. Makueni Governor, Prof. Kivutha Kibwana, was among those who attended the burial.
