I have to admit Rosemary Odinga’s money minting business has made my blood run cold! Her unique business caught the eyes of British leading broadcaster, BBC.

Raila Odinga’s elder daughter, Rosemary Odinga, is an extraordinary entrepreneur who dared venture where most Kenyans would develop cold feet.

How many of you are bold enough to eat mucus emitting slug by the name snail? Well, Rosemary is a snail farmer.

She has been keeping snails since 2008. BBC caught up with her at her farm to shed light on how she is generating income from selling snails.

Rosemary says snail is a delicacy which adds value to human body; snail meat has high rate of protein, iron, low fat and almost all the amino acid which is needed for human body.

She sells them in ritzy hotels where snail lovers go to devour their favorite delicacy.
