Ringtone Invited To Sing At Obama Celebration Party

Ringtone has been invited to sing his new song “Jubilation” on the day of the official party at the American Embassy at the ambassador’s residence. He is charging them 300,000 Kenyan shillings to perform the song, and they have agreed. Now they want to meet up and officially sign the contract. When we reached Ringtone for comment, he said, “I am truly humbled. I didn’t know the song will get recognition in such places. I thank God for his blessings and opportunities.”

 This is a fantastic ealisation of local artists’ potential. If they can charge this much for a performance of a single song, then it is a sign that singing is a real professionally career, and not a hobby like previously thought.
