Rufftone Pays Tribute To Fallen Police Officers Massacred In Kapedo

Four days of mourning. Not just morning but mourning for our fallen cops. Cops who died on the line of duty as they pursued bandits in the terrains of Kapedo. Cops who, unfortunately, fell prey of the ruthlessness and brutality of the inhuman bandits.

The government has set aside the days and ordered that flags be flown half-mast. Yesterday, civil society groups staged walks through the streets of Nairobi to pay tribute to the close to 24 police officers who died in the banditry attack.

And among those at Jogoo House to light candles and pay tribute to the fallen heroes was singer Rufftone.

Rufftone is remembered for releasing a hit song, Mungu Baba Twaomba, in which he featured GSU officers in the video.

This perhaps can explain why the singer had to join the mass because of his relationship with police officers.

Here is Rufftone’s photo as he paid his last respects for the fallen soldiers.
