She posted a photo of the two of them where she wished him a happy birthday.

In July, Tim broke the new that he and Demi-Leigh were actually dating.

Last year, three months after being crowned Miss South Africa, Demi-Leigh was hijacked. She recently sharedthe story of her escape from the hijacking incident on US talk show, Megyn Kelly Today.
Demi-Leigh took time too to talk about her campaign that she started immediately after the ordeal. She refused tto let her fear get the better of her.

Demi Leigh visited three cities in Ecuador to attend several charitable events hosted by the Miss Ecuador Organisation.
According to Angelopedia, Demi-Leigh’s first stop was at the Guayas Red Cross, where she met with people affected by natural disasters.

Demi Leigh , shared a beautiful message on social media for her little sister Franje’s birthday on Tuesday.
Franje was born with subtotal cerebellar agenesis, a rare condition that has left her without a cerebellum. She has the intellectual ability of a three-month-old baby and can’t walk, talk or eat and is fed through a tube, Demi-Leigh previously revealed to YOU.
Even though she couldn’t be with Franje on her special day, the brunette beauty wanted the world to know how much she loves and misses her sibling.

Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters joined throngs of Hollywood A-listers by wearing black to the Golden Globes in support of the #TimesUp initiative, which aims to combat and raise awareness about the “systemic sexual harassment, abuse and discrimination across industries.”
The initiative began at the beginning of the year with a letter of solidarity which was in response to a letter from women in the Farm Workers Union and the launch of the Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund.
Supported by Hollywood heavyweights including Rashida Jones, Reese Witherspoon, Chelsea Handler and Brie Larson, the movement claims to have raised a staggering $15m.
South African born Demi-Leigh attended the awards’ ceremony for the first time and posted live Instagram videos showing herself getting ready for the big night.
“I decided that I really want to support the Time’s Up campaign. I think it’s so amazing and I take my hat off to every women who has had the courage to come forward and tell their story. It’s not just a campaign, they created a legal fund to help fund women who have been victims and who have been affected. I stand with solidarity with women around the world,” said Demi in one of the videos.
