Caster Semenya is on the list of the nominees for IAAF’s Female World Athlete of the Year.<\/p>\n

Before the winner is announced on December 4th, the list of 10 nominees will be reduced to five.<\/p>\n

Caster earned her nomination after dominating the 800m, winning the Commonwealth Games, African championships, Diamond League and Continental Cup.<\/p>\n

She has been nominated for the award before, but has never won it.<\/p>\n

The public has thus been urged to vote on the IAAF’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts. The public will make up 25% of the vote, the IAAF council 50% and the IAAF ‘family’ 25%.<\/p>\n

Voting closes on November 12th.<\/p>\n
