Redi Tlhabi and Criselda Dudumashe have come in support of Lerato Sengadi.<\/p>\n

This follows\u00a0 Lerato Sengadi who took to her in laws to court\u00a0 \u00a0after HHP\u2019s father, Robert Tsambo refused to recognise her as his wife and excluded her from funeral arrangements.<\/p>\n

The court found that, according to customary law, HHP and Lerato had entered into a customary union. Even though the court ruled in Lerato\u2019s favour, she was still \u201csnubbed\u201d by HHP\u2019s family at his funeral.<\/p>\n

This is what they had to say<\/h3>\n

Criselda Dudumashe\u00a0 shared how she was treated as a young widow when her ex-husband died.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was young and impressionable, lobola fully paid, I gave birth to a baby daughter, he regarded me as his wife and everybody knew this. When he died I was treated like I had leprosy (infectious disease that causes skin sore),\u201d .\u201cThe women in his family were the ones who deprived me the opportunity and right to mourn his death. Women were oppressively driving patriarchal agenda in the name of culture.\u201d<\/p>\n
