Gospel and pop star Riana Nel has been announced as the second coach to join\u00a0The Voice SA\u00a0<\/em>season 3.<\/p>\n

She has had her songs featured on chart-topping, with hit albums and awards.<\/p>\n

“We\u2019re blessed and excited to have Riana on our panel of coaches for season 3,” says M-Net\u2019s Head of Publicity, Lani Lombard.<\/p>\n

“She is sweet, down-to-earth and friendly, but don\u2019t underestimate her competitive spirit, commitment and conscientiousness. Riana did an excellent job as Lira\u2019s co-coach in season 2. She is bound to give season 3\u2019s rival coaches a run for their money.”<\/p>\n

At the blind auditions, Riana plans to turn around for vocalists with an authentic, on-key, sound.<\/p>\n

“I am ready to be blown away and be the cheerleader for people who really can \u2013 and want to \u2013 make singing their career. I am looking for that goose-bump-inducing kind of voice that makes you want to cry, laugh or just get up off your chair and then shout \u2018yasss’! In other words, something that connects with my heart!”<\/p>\n

She wants a talent to pick her simply because:\u00a0“I am a vocal and song writing teacher. I have been working with one of the biggest labels in the country and I have written songs for many top-selling singers.<\/p>\n

“I recognise talent and authenticity at a glance, and help singers find the best part of themselves and foster it. And that\u2019s what it will take to win The Voice SA. My career was kick-started when I won a competition, so I know the ropes!” Riana says.<\/p>\n

The other two coaches are yet to be announced.<\/p>\n
