Khanya Mkangisa spoke to Mo Flava on Metro FM drive about the alleged hit-and-run that she was involved in.<\/p>\n
This past week, reports indicated that Khanya had spent a day in jail after she hit another vehicle and fled the scene.<\/p>\n
She told Mo Flava that she was not involved in a hit-and-run and that the story was blown out of proportion.<\/p>\n
“I was in my complex, parking in my parking bay. I hit \u2013 like a little, small dent, almost like a scratch \u2013 hit the car that parks next to me. Left my details. So it really was not a dramatic situation,” Khanya said.<\/p>\n
She affirmed that there was an arrest because of the situation, adding that the owner of the car she hit felt the need to get the police involved.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is what\u2019s not fair about the situation. If you have an accident and you hit someone, you guys exchange details. Fine you can involve the cops and they can make sure everything\u2019s fine. Why does it need to now become a whole thing? Never mind with the media, why does it need to become an arrest? And why is it now turned into \u2018it was a hit and run\u2019? So obviously there is some ulterior motive. I see it as some sort of vendetta because that\u2019s not how things are supposed to work,\u201d she went on to say.<\/p>\n
