Mafokate, in turn, laid charges against her.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_469\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-469\" style=\"width: 403px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/sa\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2017\/09\/images-11.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-469\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/sa\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2017\/09\/images-11.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"403\" height=\"246\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-469\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">CiCi and Arthur Mafokate during happier times<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>On Wednesday, Mafokate\u2019s attempts to get his assault charge resolved through mediation hit a snag as Twala refused to accept that. He briefly appeared in the Midrand Magistrate\u2019s Court. He is accused of allegedly physically abusing Twala.<\/p>\n<p>In June, Mafokate appeared in the same court on a charge of common assault, where CiCi claimed that he allegedly dragged her in the street with his car during an argument.
