Earlier this year, Bonang Matheba gave out bursaries to underprivileged students.<\/p>\n

The top media personality has however found herself trending again, after it came out that she had offered to help a university student pay her fees six months ago, but had not yet done it.<\/p>\n

Six months ago, a student tweeted how she had lost on a job opportunity in China due to a large amount she owed her university account, and thus could not get her degree.<\/p>\n

Bonang then responded, offering to help her. She then sent her messages asking for her contact details and saying that her office would get in touch with her (the student), to discuss settling the amount.<\/p>\n

After learning however that the amount needed for the settlement was R56,000, Bonang apparently un-followed the student and stopped responding to any of her messages. Even cutting her from communicating through Twitter.<\/p>\n

The student, told her side, explaining how she was left stranded by the media personality and business woman.<\/p>\n
