Sauti Sol Award Tiwa Savage, Congratulate Diamond But No Kenyan Artiste In The CHOAMVA Awards. Why?

These and many more are the questions that should keep lingering in our minds as other African artistes walk home smiling with awards and to the bank to add something into their accounts, something earned from their hard work and exertion.

Among those in the awards ceremony held in South Africa were Kenyan celebrities Sauti Sol, Victoria Kimani and others.

They had travelled to the South not because they had been nominated for the major awards but because they were invited as spectators.

Diamond of Tanzania scooped three awards as Sauti Sol and company watched from the stands. So did other African artistes.

Well, sauti Sol are known for their global exploits in the MTV EMA awards. But does that mean that there are no other musicians from Kenya who can represent us even in Africa itself?
