SEXIST SOCIETY: Why Njoki Chege,A Young Woman Who Trains Other Young Women On How To Be Prostitutes,Is Uncomfortable With Laura Akunga…The Ksh.10 Million Car Woman.

Since some unknown lady blasted her way into the headlines by very simply and generously buying her man a Ksh.10 million car,blogs-and tabloids- have had a field day roasting her and exposing her past misdeeds in a bid to deflate her achievements and box her into a silent,sexist corner.

 Normally,in the very male-dominated society we live in,where men are expected to do all in the relationship-provide for the woman,buy her goodies,shower her with gifts,pay her rent,bathe her in jewelry and pay for all cuisine bills,when a woman decides to be DARING enough-or STUPID-enough and goes ahead and does WHAT men are normally expected to do,by the mere virtue of society and sexist social arrangements, she receives some of the worst backlash ever. She is greeted with scorn for pampering her man…She is lampooned and made a subject of stiff ridicule, made a punch line for tasteless Twitter memes and made to pay for her crimes-the crimes of stepping into the financial shoes that ONLY her man,it is assumed,should be in.

Since Laura Akunga Murithi,the Benchmark CEO bought her 30-year old hubby Murithi a Ksh.10 million fuel-gobbler,her life has not been the same again. Instead of being greeted with praise,accolades and pats on her hardworking back,Laura was pushed into a dark hole,muddied,stepped upon,spat on,boxed,kicked and left to die. By the very men that she was trying to set a better standard for. And the very women that she was trying to inspire to do better for their spouses.

Laura’s tribulations have really shot through the roof…She has been attacked from almost any and every corner possible…By bitter scumbags who would rather see a good woman down than up and running spoiling the love of her life.

Laura’s past troubles are really a result of her buying that car to her man. Her 30-year old man,who,according to society,should be the one to buy her that sort of car. And not vice versa.

Bloggers like Robert Alai,who has in the past consistently demonstrated his absolute thick headedness and shameless sexism, was one of the first ‘public figures’ to go for Laura’s jugular.

Alai,an ageing blogger with the mindset of a villager and the mental countenance of a traditional chief,didn’t understand just HOW this Murithi man deserved a car that expensive from Laura. And his very sexist and dirty tweet that he posted after the story broke can be seen below.

Alai,ever the relentless warrior, further went ahead and dug up details of Laura’s life…Details he tried piecing together and declared then wanting. Declared her story fictitious. And declared her whole life too perfect and scripted to be true. He could have a point. But it was all borne out of displeasure, jealous(probably) and a very apparent mischief.

Another shocking entrant to the whole Laura-bashing parade was none other than the brash Daily Nation nuisance Njoki Chege who,as we all expected,wasted no time in jumping into the gravy and attacking Laura…

Njoki,herself a woman whose fortunes and financial might WOULD never match that of Laura Akunga,decided to play the age-old role of the bitter,wicked woman and bashed a FELLOW woman. Telling Laura that she didn’t need to flaunt her birthday gifts on Social Media. But not telling her why. Only lording over her and preaching down at her…As only Njoki would.

You won’t see Njoki Chege or Robert Alai bashing Beyonce or Angelina Jolie or Nicki Minaj for buying super-expensive gifts for their super-rich men. Because, according to their thinking, It is OK for a wealthy woman to buy her equally wealthy man a super-wealthy gift.

But a Kenyan woman with modest millions? Married to a Kenyan worth barely nothing? No No! DO NOT splash it all out on him! It’s a bad thing to do. He doesn’t deserve it. You can do better…What has he done for you…are the sort of questions and thoughts that these Laura bashers put into work.

Njoki Chege,a single,loveless woman who is almost the age of Laura Akunga BUT nowhere near her millions,adviced Laura that posting intimate stuff on Social media SHOULD NOT be her thing.

Well,If You’ve got it,flaunt it,right? How many 20-something year old women can afford to buy their men the sort of car that Laura bought her man? How many?

Instead of Njoki,a woman I always thought to be a feminist, celebrating Laura and applauding her for setting the bar high, introducing new avenues to relationships and inspiring romantic women all over Kenya,Njoki chose to bash the lady. Reducing her to a desperate, attention-seeking lady with modest cash and a bragging soul.

Because Njoki Chege is a woman who has countless times ENCOURAGED young, avaricious women to be PROSTITUTES even giving them free handouts on how to be PROSTITUTES every Saturday on a National newspaper, she does not expect that a woman should buy her a man a gift. Especially a gift THAT expensive. And make such a huge deal of it. On HER OWN Social Media account, no less.

And so,Laura MUST be attacked. Because we should teach our young, nymphomaniac girls to milk millions from their ‘sponsors’…Not splash them with costly gifts.

Look at all the people bashing Laura…On social media,papers,courts,blogs…All of these are bitter,little-brained twats with no real money,no real bank accounts,no real loves,no marriages,no spouses,no happy romantic lives and no chance of ever pocketing a million even in the next 10 years.

Njoki wants to preach prostitution to young girls every Saturday…And she is Ok with it.

But when a young-very successful-woman tries to inspire women,show them that they should also step up their game a little, inspire them to be wealthy and live large, celebrating the good things in life with their ONE and ONLY man,Njoki,and many other Social Media bimbos are uncomfortable.

Laura’s troubles will surely go away…Laura will surely survive.

To me,she appears to be a woman with absolutely good intentions…No ill will and certainly NO desire to brag or show off whatsoever.

How come NO ONE attacked Sharon Mundia of ThisisEss after she also gave a very detailed account of her romantic engagement?? Complete with photos,a wordy blog post and even mentions of that helicopter ride???

No one attacked Sharon! Why? Because she isn’t the one who splashed the money. It’s the guy.

As long as the guy goes to social media to narrate just how in love he is,how much he’s doing for her.what he bought her,where he took her and what he is planning to do for her,we are Ok. We say,’Awwww’. So Sweet…

But when the women steps up the ladder…And becomes the one doing ALL these things, spending ALL that money and narrating ALL those stories…We become uncomfortable. We attack her. We try to expose her. We call her out. We spit at her. We exhume her past skeletons. And we jeer at her.
