More on ‘Slave Trade’ In Libya
Libya has been in the news for the past few days now. This is due to reports of hundreds of Africans being bought and sold in slave markets across the country.
Many Africans have however condemned the action saying it is inhuman and doesn’t unite us as Africans.
Shatta Wale called on African leaders to intervene and save our people.
He further urged all Africans to pray for the victims of this modern ‘slave trade’ and wondered why “we can’t love ourselves; why can’t you be your brother’s keeper?”
‘Da Maker’ produced the song.
