Show Of Might. These Are The 5 Major Roads That Will Be Closed When Obama Comes Into The Country

As Kidero and his team attempt to grow grass miraculously in 3 days, plans are underway to close 5 of Nairobi’s’ major roads.

During a press briefing today, Nairobi police commander Benson Kibue said that on Friday afternoon, Mombasa Road, Uhuru Highway and Waiyaki Way will be closed for 7 hours. That is from 2P.M-9 P.M.

According to The Star, On Saturday Thika Road, Limuru Road and Waiyaki Way will be closed when he attends the Global Entrepreneurship Summit at the UN headquarters in Gigiri.

So what happens to the Nairobians who still want to go on about their business during his visit?

Motorists were asked to use other routes such as the Southern by-pass and those motorists from Kikuyu and Westlands were given the option of using James Gichuru road .
