The Songstress who is a professionally trained nurse practicing in the UK revealed in an interview that, she is not quitting nursing to do only music but to also operate a restaurant and a ‘Shisha’ lounge.

“I was a nurse but now I think I’ve paused on the nursing. I’m working on my own restaurant and shisha lounge so small small. It is in Ghana. It has to be here” she said.

She had this to say when asked why she wants to quit a lucrative job as nursing, and that too in the UK for what she intends to do now.

“It wasn’t something that I was happy doing. Like it was something, even though it’s nice to help people, that’s not where my field was. I just felt I had to do what I love best and that is music. I still can help anybody so far as I got my degree and certificates. I can still open my hospital in Ghana and help kids,” she explained in an interview with Pulse Ghana”

Sista Afia shot into the limelight with her single ‘Krokro No’ which features award winning rapper, Kofi Kinata.

She has since then followed it up with  other hit tracks such as ‘Are you Ready’, “Jeje”, among others.
