They\u2019ll be cranky.<\/li>\n<li>Check &amp; top up the coolant.<\/li>\n<li>How\u2019s the battery condition? Replace if it\u2019s aged.<\/li>\n<li>Check and replace engine oil and oil filters &#8211; if necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Replace old, worn out wipers &#8211; if need be.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure the spare tire is in good condition, and the tool kit to change tire if need arises.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Additional important things:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Obtain a small fire extinguisher for the car.<\/li>\n<li>Tag along essential vehicle documents like registration, driving license and insurance.<\/li>\n<li>Carry extra essential fuses of the car &#8211; if you have the skills to diagnose an electrical mishap.<\/li>\n<li>An extra can of engine oil, brake and coolant fluids.<\/li>\n<li>Have an emergency car kit &#8211; jumper cables, tire sealer, and tire Inflator with pressure check monitor<\/li>\n<li>Basics like flash lights, a medical first aid kit and the triangle hazard signs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>One other essential aspect is the fuel you purchase along the way.
