Swagson’s Salim Is A Hopeless Romantic

On this week’s “Fly Guy” column in the Eve Gal magazine, Salim from the up and coming hip hop group Swagson comes clean about his lifestyle and relationships. Turns out he’s quite the romantic guy. He wore a shirt that was written “I LOVE MY GIRLFRIEND” and talked about how he takes her on horse-riding trips and such. Here is the full interview for those of you who didn’t catch it:

 Name: Salim Ally  Age: 22  

Tell us a bit about yourself  

I am a business and IT student at Graffins College, Nairobi and a member of Swagsons, a group of four guys with common goals in the fashion and entertainment. We deal with music; event organising and we will soon be launching a clothing line  

What is your personal style?  

My style is first about what makes me comfortable, a simple urban look. I am a fan of blackbird jeans designs and my international fashion icons are Kanye west, TI and Fally Ipupa.  

Tell us about your clothing line  

We first came up with our own customized designs for the group. The demand and reception from the fans/ peers was overwhelming thus the need to share the ‘swag’ with the world. Currently final touches are being put in place.  Whose idea was it and who are your targets?  The idea came up from the whole team, due to the fact that we have similar taste in fashion. We cannot specify whom we aim for because as long as you have an eye for good fashion, you are definitely guaranteed quality.  

Are you dating?  

Yes, her name is Shaniqwa Ndiritu. We have been together for two years.  We have date days every other day to the cinemas. On Valentines Day, which is also her birthday we had a picnic and spent the day together horse riding and boat riding.
