Judge threatens Shatta Wale with bench warrant

The Adjabeng Magistrate Court in Accra, presided over by His Worship Mr Isaac Addo has issued a stern warning and threatened to issue a bench warrant for the arrest of Charles Nii Armah, popularly known as called Shatta Wale if he fails to appear in court at the next adjourned date.

Shatta Wale who together with Stonebwoy is standing trial for offensive misconduct during the last edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, was not present in court on Wednesday, when the prosecution was expected to call its first witness.

However, when the case was called, Stonebwoy was present together with his lawyer but Shatta Wale and his lawyer were both absent.

Prosecution led by Superintendent Emilia Asante, however, prayed the court for a bench warrant to be issued for the arrest of the musician.

It was the case of Superintendent Asante that the accused person was delaying the trial due to his continuous absence from court.

She explained that the prosecution’s first witness has a tight schedule but has managed to come to court only for the case to be adjourned.

The magistrate court subsequently initiated the bench warrant but his lawyer Jerry Avenorgbo appeared on time and pleaded for the court to temper justice with mercy.

The Magistrate said both the second accused (Shatta Wale) and his lawyer are playing with the court, a development the court is unhappy about.

“Second accused and his lawyer are playing with the court. For a very long time, he has not appeared in court.”

Counsel for Shatta Wale, Jerry Avenyorgbo prior to the court rescinding its earlier decision said his client was on his way.

He was obliged some time to get through with his client on the phone but, he returned to inform the court that he could not get through to him.

He then pleaded with the court to rescind his earlier decision and received backing from Stonebwoy’s lawyer who added his voice to the plea.

His Worship Mr Addo, however, rescinded his ruling and warned that he will not tolerate such actions from both parties and he will go ahead to take any decision against them if it is repeated.

Lawyer for Shatta Wale promised to ensure that his client is present on the next adjourned date.

The case has been adjourned to November 4.

And this coming up again on the back of that might be the last time we will ever see Shatta Wale with Skinny.

that she did it to counter ‘blackmails’ from her baby daddy.

According to some of her sympathizers, Michy wants to tell her baby daddy, Shatta Wale, that

she doesn’t give a hoot if he leaks her naked photos and sex videos as he is alleged to have

threatened in the wake of their PR gimmicks a few days ago.

Taking to her Instagram story, Michy shared the photo as she was seen with no

“Sarkodie And Stonebwoy Are Disgrace To This Industry” – Shatta Wale

Self-acclaimed Dancehall King, Shatta Wale has launched a new attack on colleague artistes, Stonebowy and Sarkodie again.

Shatta Wale on first Sunday in the year 2019 went on twitter spree tagging Sarkodie and Stonebowy a disgrace to the Ghanaian music industry.

He however went on to reiterate that they are poor, a statement he made months ago which angered Sarkodie to release the “advice” diss song.

Apparently, Stonebwoy and Sarkodie had reacted to Shatta Wale’s congratulatory message to Burna Boy on his massive win at the Soundcity MVP on the 5th of January 2019, hence his outburst.

2019 Prophecies: Shatta Wale Makes His Prophecy About Churches

Awards-winning Dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale,

has made his own prophecy about churches and ‘fake’ pastors in the country.

Earlier in 2018, one prophet weirdly prophesied that he could die before the year ends.

In a video that went viral on social media, the so-called man of God revealed the prophesy

while preaching to his congregation.

In one of his prophesies, he mentioned Shatta Wale’s name, saying if the artiste doesn’t

take care he will join the list of celebrities who have died in recent times.

“God said I should tell Shatta Wale that if he is not very careful and cautious, he will be involved in an accident in December and die,” the prophet said.

But responding to this, Shatta Wale, who survived the year unscathed, said his prophecy to

all pastors who prophesy doom on the lives of others is that God doesn’t sleep.

The “My Level” hitmaker recently held a thanksgiving service, where he pulled a massive crowd to the Mantse Agbonaa park in Accra.

In a recent Facebook post however, the Shatta Movement Empire boss said he is surprised that

President Akufo-Addo has been silent about the spate of prophets prophesying doom.

“My prophecy about churches. God nuh sleep … Shatta Wale. They wanted me to do this to say I don’t respect and will force the police to arrest me .. It’s a shame the president of this country is watching all this from this fake person calling themselves men of God .. Ghana is a stupid village ..Yez I said it,” Shatta Wale wrote.

It would be recalled that Shatta Wale threatened to burn down the churches of those ‘fake’

pastors who predicted his death should he survive till the end of the year.

However, his latest post suggests he will probably not be carrying out his threat.

People Will Leave Ghana In 2019 Because Of God’s Blessings On Shatta Movement – Shatta Wale

Self acclaimed Dancehall King, Charles Nii Armah, best known as Shatta Wale has said that people will have to leave Ghana this year because of how God intends blessing Shatta Movement.

According to him, God has blessings in stock for Shatta Movement and that people will

not be happy about how they will live their lives this year.

In his new year message to his fans on social media, Shatta Wale wrote;

“2019 is a year for the odds !!! 9 is an odd number and they say we behave like that so watch my blessings this year coming, you might even leave the country because of shatta movement .. Happy new year to real people and positive thinkers”.

The ‘My Level’ hitmaker also mentioned that his colleague musicians need to learn more in order to make life better for them rather than focus on make-believes.

“And also to my fellow colleagues who still haven’t understood music and showbiz as a career cuz I pity how they wanna create an impression of YES LIFE IS GOOD whilst life isn’t ..Dem deh waste the days and it’s still the time.”

I Love To “Beef” With Samini- Shatta Wale

Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has revealed that he loves to ‘beef’ with colleague artiste Samini.

Shatta, who has over the years been a pain in the life of Samini seems to have seen the light and has thrown his weight behind Samini after he released his album “Untamed”.

It seems the ‘Gringo’ man is finally now understands what it means to ‘Support Your Own’

Shatta Wale has made it a point to tweet on the album on a daily basis to get Ghanaians to be aware of the fact that Samini has released his album online.

In his latest post, he said “Enjoying myself with some reggae vibes … We will help ourselves if no one does … I love to beef samini but if I have to say Kudos ,I will … high grade x SM”.

We’re happy Shatta Wale is now practicing what he has been preaching all these years.

All The Shows Organized By Ghanaian Artiste This December Are Free – Shatta Wale

Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has said that all the shows being organized by his colleague

artistes are all free.

According to him, other artistes are forcing to pull crowd simply because of him.

Shatta Wale set a record by single handedly filling the Dome of the Accra Trade Fair

Center during his album launch months ago.

Shatta tweeted;

“All the shows this December that every gh artiste deh organize be free showww ..if you kno you kno .. free ticket deh go on ..and because of me boys wan show crowd power .. #Fillingstations are busy”. Several artiste in different genres are organizing shows this Christmas to celebrate their fans for the support they have given to them all year round.”

Shatta Wale Comments On Stonebwoy’s #FillTheDome Concert

28th December should probably be termed judgement day for Ghana’s dancehall artistes, Shatta Wale and Stonebowy.

The two rivals are bringing down their major concerts on the same day and Ghanaian’s can’t think far.

Whiles Stonebowy’s ‘Bhim Concert’ is scheduled for the same day, so is Shatta’s ‘Thanksgiving Concert’ after a successful ‘Reign Album’ launch.

Since Stonebowy was the first to release the said date for his show first, many believe Shatta is at his best to belittle the Bhim Nation boss.

Though Stonebowy is still 100% certain that he can fill the Fantasy Dome with his concert, Shatta believes otherwise.

Meanwhile, the SM boss in a latest tweet has commented on the upcoming Bhim concert

and it’s nothing as usual but mockery.

Shatta Wale in a latest tweet has shared a flyer for Stonebwoy’s #FillTheDome.

The multiple hit factory commenting on the Bhim Concert by the ‘Top Skanka’ crooner

shared an artwork with DKB and wrote;

“The management of Shatta Movement Empire has given out Ghana’s no. 1 MC on ONE SEASON LOAN to @stonebwoyb #BhimNation to host their concert.

Yo @dkbghana when you finish come straight to the training camp!

Else you go hear your borborliborbor ”

Well, we sure do hope the scores will finally be settled after 28th December.

Don’t Blame The Politician – Shatta Wale

Dancehall act, Shatta Wale has finally broken silence and blasted Ghanaians criticizing the

video for his hit song, ‘My Level’

The self-acclaimed Dancehall King believes there are more pressing issues which need

discussing by the media than focusing on his single balloon project.

Shatta’s outburst however follows feedback circulating in the media that his video was poorly

Taking to Twitter, the ‘Gringo’ man registered his displeasure while he subtly jabbed the media.

The Concept Behind Shatta Wale’s ‘My Level’ Video Is Poor – Ola Michael

Former Public Relations Officer of the Film Producers Association of Ghana (FIPAG),

Ola Michael has opined that the concept behind the official video for Shatta Wale’s hit song,

‘ My Level’ is substandard.

According to Ola Michael, some scenes in the video do not make sense from a scientific

perspective.

At the opening stage of the video, a little girl, named Shatta Berry, who happens to be a

hardcore Shatta Wale fan is seen handing over a set of balloons to Shatta Wale.

Ola Michael finds it scientifically feeble that when the little girl, who has a relatively lower body

mass was in possession of the balloons, she was not levitated into the skies, whilst Shatta Wale,

who has a higher body mass rather levitated into the skies.

In a post on Facebook, Ola Michael further posited that a huge record like My Level deserves

a better music video than the video released.

Meanhwile, ace Nigerian director, Sesan, is the director of the video for ‘My Level’

He is the director who directed Shatta Wale’s viral Gringo video.

The song has since been enjoying massive airplay across the nation with many DJ’s not

leaving it out of their music list at events.

The music video starts with Shatta Wale coming out of his old East Legon ‘Green house’ building holding on to Storm Energy drink, then he’s handed a set of balloons by one of the big SM fans, Shatta Berry then before we knew it, the dancehall king starts levitating into the sky with his balloons.

People get surprised and start looking on as he sings the lyrics of the famous song.

It’s a fun video to watch as Shatta brings humour to the whole thing as he levitates –Oh you should see the moment the balloons burst, the facial expressions alone.

Shatta Wale To Host His Thanksgiving Concert On 28th December; Same Day Of Stonebwoy’s ‘Bhim Concert’

It seems the scores would finally be settled in a matter of a few days from now as to who

is Ghana’s biggest dancehall artiste, between Shatta Wale and Stonebowy.

This is due to the fact that both artistes have set the same day to hold their major concerts this year.

Stonebowy a few days ago announced December 28th as the day for his ‘Bhim Concert’ at the Fantasy Dome in Accra.

Well, his arch-rival, Shatta Wale has also a few hours ago announced the same day he’s holding his ‘Thanksgiving Concert’.

My Father, Mother, Nobody In Ghana Has Done Anything For Me – Shatta Wale

Dancehall act, Shatta Wale has finally released his venom on Ghanaians for attacking him over his comments a few days ago in London.

The SM Boss during his performance at Indigo, 02 in London said Ghana is a village.

His comment, obviously didn’t go down well with many Ghanaians who took to social media

to blast the ‘My Level’ crooner.

Reacting to the social media trolls once again, Shatta Wale claims nobody helped him survive the industry.

Check:https://www.ghafla.co.ke/gh/shatta-wale-embarrasses-himself-during-a-bbc-freestylevideo/

“Let me make it clear to you – I don’t respect anyone in Ghana.

Nobody has done anything for me including my father, mother and the media. Don’t try me because you can’t survive if we start a fight.

I am the only one who can close down a radio station, let the president and Ghana police beg me,” he was heard saying in a video which has since gone viral.

He also stated that he has never received royalties from his music but made all his money

being humble and begging people.

He descended on Ghanaians, calling them all sort of nasty names out of frustration. He threatened to teach Ghanaians lessons when he returns from his album tour.

We’re however wondering if Shatta Wale’s fans are not Ghanaians or yet still if it hasn’t been Ghanaians attending his shows which they pay monies for or not.

There Is A Difference Between Intelligence And Blessings –  Shatta Wale

Shatta Movement Frontliner, Shatta Wale has said that there it’s a different thing to say

one is intelligent and another thing to say one is blessed.

According to the ‘Gringo’ man he had intelligent boys back in school who his teachers

always referred to as being serious.

However, these same teachers of his always referred to him as the opposite of his mates.

The Dancehall artiste added that though he was not regarded as a serious student back

in the day in school, the blessings of the Lord has lifted him to achieve successes in life.

Shatta Wale made this revelation through a tweet on the occasion of his 34th birthday

which was on Wednesday October 17.

The Zylofon Media artiste preached how one can have all the academic degrees but

without God’s blessings such a person will be “nobody”.

Shatta, born Charles Nii Armah Mensah Junior has within the last five years founded

and managed one of the best and strongest movements, Shatta Movement,

in Ghana’s music industry.

He launched his latest album [Reign] last Saturday.

However, his perceived loudmouth attitude has seemingly made him an enemy of hundreds

of Ghanaians and musicians, particularly his contemporaries.

This has also made him become arguably the most criticized Ghanaian musician in recent times.

In a tweet to mark his birthday, the ‘champion’ man apparently confirmed arguments

that he is an unintelligent person but then the blessings of the Lord has made him achieve a feat someone with academic degrees cannot attain.

“When I was in school , I had intelligent boys who my teachers referred to as serious students and that I wasn’t . But little did they know there was a difference btwn intelligence and Blessings !! You can hv all the degree but if u not with God ..u nobody !!!” he tweeted with an artwork of him on a throne to depict his self-acclaimed kingship.
