Birthday surprises  are done in different ways and mostly in public places, but this one may be is the first birthday surprise live on T in Kenya.

Joab Mwaura, a senior Kiswahili Features reporter, who is known from his show, Mgaagaa Na Upwa, decided to surprise his friend, Nancy Onyancha, anchor at K24 live on TV on her birthday.

During the last briefs of the bulletin, walked in his friends with a birthday cake and two bottles of champagne during the 7pm bulletin! The surprise was clear on Onyancha’s face… According to a close source at K24, Onyancha was totally unaware of the whole thing, only a few of Joab’s friends knew..
