The Countdown to the 2012 CHAT Awards Begins

This years CHAT awards is set to take place this coming Saturday, the 21st of April 2012 and will be broadcast LIVE on KTN. For the first time in its ten year history, the CHAT Awards will be hosted primarily as a television event.

Fans have been voting on the Insyder website for their favourite artistes to win during the 10th edition of the Awards. Voting officially began on Wednesday, March 14th and will close this Wednesday, March 18th, 2012. Ultimately, the nominees who accumulate the highest number of votes will be awarded.

This year’s CHAT theme is inspired by an election year, and subsequently titled ‘Rock Your Vote’. Teeniez are exercising their ‘voting rights’ by having the nominees’ (aggressively) campaign to them and give them reasons as to why they should be voted in. The nominees will be required to hit the ground and capture the teeniez just like presidential candidates.
