The Highest Paid Singer Who Beat Nameless, Nonini And Collo Has Died

The musician who caused a stir last year during the Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK) gala has passed away.

Junior Kotestes became widely known in Kenya last year during the MSCK award gala that was held on 20th October at the Carnivore grounds.

The vernacular singer beat music heavy weights; Nameless, Nonini, Collo among others to emerge as the highest paid artist by MCSK.

Mr. Junior Kotestes whose real name is Kiptesot Sang bagged more than a quarter million bucks as royalties from MCSK.

The Kalenjin singer passed on this week at Bomet hospital after he failed to recover from severe Pneumonia.

The singer was reported to have suffered for long while and was only rushed to the hospital after his health deteriorated.

Kotestes’ fans have already established a Facebook account where donations are being collection and condolences expressed.
