The much anticipated Royal Wedding in summary

It was pomp and color at the Royal Wedding that took place in Windsor Castle on Saturday. It was also a day of many firsts.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle finally got to say their vows in front of 600 guests. Their wedding captivated the whole world, who watched in awe right from when Meghan walked down the aisle to Harry’s emotional moments and down to the vows. No bit was left out.

Some of the stars who made it to the wedding included, Oprah Winfrey, tennis champion Serena Williams, actor George Clooney and his barrister wife Amal Clooney, Sir Elton John, David and Victoria Beckham and actor Idris Elba.

An estimated 100,000 people turned out to see the couple as they sat in an open-top Ascot Landau for a carriage procession through Windsor.

The celebrations culminated in a black-tie wedding dinner staged at Frogmore House and hosted by Charles for 200 of the couple’s closest friends and family.
