The Standard Digital In Yet Another Mess!!

This comes after the forenamed was caught in a wave of mistakes that have been careening around like a jinxed house of cards! A wave after wave  of careless mistakes…

The Standard digital today in a bid to remain relevant, (please note if it were me, i would have given up, thrown in the towel and left for the village to gather honey with my folks) has used the wrong photo for their article, the photo that shows the Nairobi Senator, Mike Sonko hanging out with his classmates was used for the wrong purposes, an act that has  fueled an uproar!The Title, which read:Sonko to fly 16 Kenyans to the hague for “free” seems to point at an underlying message that, “free” is not the Free in your dictionary,the headline suggests that the senators move is somehow shady. 

The real issue was that some people chose to hurl epithets and unspeakables  at the post citing that sonko could have done something with the funds, this follows the move by the senator to fund a group of people to accompany Mr. Uhuru Kenyatta to the Hague for the status conference.

An Outspoken Njeri Muthaka was not impressed to see her photo being used in a post that was littered and reeking of hate and malice, she was contemplating suing KTN Kenya for Slander! The comment brought all manners of comments, with most of them being directed to the people in the above picture, who it was thought were the people that the senator was sponsoring to go to the hague- Carelessness!! 

She was particularly unhappy that her image, that she has worked so hard to uphold would be dragged down the muck in one careless move by a Journalist who didn’t confirm his source and used the photo for the wrong purpose.

The article was written in a manner that suggested that the youth in that photo were chosen to accompany the senator, Kenyans took to the post to display their hate and dislike for the act.
