NTV’s Brenda Wanga feature on devastating fire outbreak at Tala High School that killed one student and left fourteen other with permanent injuries has shocked the country to earn a spot among twitter’s trending items.
NTV’s Brenda Wanga visited some of the survivors of Tala High School fire tragedy and the scares that the survivors bear from the arson is one that is sending shivers down many people’s spine. The images remind one of 2001 Bombolulu fire incident where at least 59 students lost their lives and many Kenyans are wondering what need to be done to avert such tragedies.
The feature tells a story of one boy who was maimed by the fire and now he is forced to live a very difficult life as his dreams were shuttered by the disaster. Check out the comments on twitter and the video as well:
