This Is Why Popular App, SnapChat, Owes Nairobi And Kenyans An Apology.

One of the gravest mistakes ever committed when the Nairobi city life went live on snapchat was the cluelessness and naivety  of the westerners. I was disturbed to learn that some Wazungus still think that Elephants roam freely in our streets as families in the village keep leopards and cheetahs as pets. Really? You can’t be that dumb. 

 Anyway, Nairobi got trolled nice and proper on the day it went live on snapchat. No amount of response would dilute the skewed mentality that the west had on Nairobi. Even more infuriating was when they posted a flag of Kenya Upside down.

The fact that Nairobi is the second city in Africa after South Africa to be on Snap Chat is not Consolation enough.
