A few weeks ago, he spent around USD 15000 on his “Onabayi” video shoot that was directed by South Africa’s videographer, Sesan.
Ykee Benda is in Nigeria for a media tour and chasing a few gigs.
He is recently hit the studio with singer Teckno, the “Pana” hitmaker.

After almost 10 years of making music, desire Luzinda has announced that she will be exiting from her Music Career.
Luzinda started making around 2009 after her TV stint on WBS with Moses chopper on a program called weekender.
This doesnot comes as a surprise for many Ugandans as hse has been off the scene for a while. She has only ressurected on social media to show off her US travels with daughter Michelle.
In her career, she has released a number of hit songs that include, “Mubiite”, “Nina Omwami”, “Naye nga lwaki”, “Guntawanya”, “Nyumirwa Nyo”, “Fitting”, among others.
She has also had her fair share of controversies with famous flings with Seya and other bigshot politicians. They were said to be funding her lifestyle expenses.
Also the paternity of her daughter has been bounced around on the guys she has dated.
The biggest was the release of her nudes that got her attention from as far as BBC. It may also have pushed her career foward as she got more bookings.
She is set to release her final Album “Transition” by end of September.
Many Artistes have come for Sheebah and her singing claiming she is not good at all. The latest is Catherine Kusaasira who has been in the industry for long as part of Eagles Band.
In an interview Kusasira said “Sheebah is not a singer. She is helped by good beats on the song but she doesn’t know how to sing. She can’t handle live band, she is just basically on the form. She can’t buy class”.
Kato lubwama also once said she can’t sing music that lasts.
Well for those of us who support Sheeba, we say she is the G. O. A. T and she will go a long way.

That same Ziggy Dee wants to make a comeback to the Uganda Music Market after an over 15year break.
The last we had heard about Ziggy is that he had relocated to Tanzania to pursue other dreams. Maybe those didn’t work out.
He also had a massive hit “Sunda” with now honourable Kyagulanyi known as Bobi Wine at the time.
Well if he still rocks your boat, the concert will take place at Fusion Auto Spa, Munyonyo on 14th September 2018 and he will perform live together with female singer Cindy Sanyu.
Elder brother to the Late Ivan Ssemwanga, known as Sir Pinto was found dead in his hotel room in South Africa.
It is said that he had been sick since earlier this year and was once in coma.
We are not aware of what he has been suffering from but what we gather he was on his death bed.
RIP to the deceased and condolences to the Semwanga family on the loss of another son.
Before all the diss songs and endless fights, back when Ugandan Music made sense, there were all star songs.

Whoever doubted Irene Ntale abilities when she left Swangz Avenue must hiding right now. She showed the world that she was not a joking subject when she pulled off her first independent solo concert last month.
Since the success of that show, she took time off in the US and is now back with a bang! She has moved to Nigeria in preparation for her upcoming collaboration with Tiwa savage.
She posted a video of them together parting it up in a Lagos club and has been doing some promo on the country’s most popular stations.

After 10years together and one beautiful daughter, famous events organizer Gareth onyango split with his wife Nikita Bachu.
Over the years, their relationship was marred by cheating scandals on both sides. Nikita was famously linked to Zari’s late husband Ivan Ssemwanga after being seen on several occasions huddled in a car for hours.
Gareth also being on the night scene was attracting the attention due to his good looks. That relationship eventually crumbled.
After being quiet for sometime, Nikita was seen hand in hand with a mystery man who is suspected to be the one in things.
This man only identified as James is a businessman in Dubai.

There has been news going around recently of Bebecool fighting off young ghetto youth after being pictured in a casino gambling.
This was soon after the success of the golden heart concert that the artiste decided to take to the slot machines to blow off steam at a popular casino in the city.
As it were, some snoops were seeking to smoke him out and expose his ways. When on of the boys tried to snap a picture, Bebe was enraged and grabbed the phone saying his privacy was being infringed upon.
It did not help that Bebecool was surrounded by his full time troupe of security that tried to beat up the young man. The ghetto youth was also prepared when he alled in backed up who saved him from being lynched.
His phone was also not returned.
We know that gambling is a deadly habit for people that engage in it and we hope Bebe doesnt go down the slippery slope.
