Weasel and Bryan White are back with their partnership, it cost 28m

Moneybags Bryan White and Goodlyfe artiste, Weasel Manizo are working together again. The two had temporarily split after Bryan White disrespected the singer.

On Friday, the two appeared together in public to launch a new song entitled “Kilimanyi” which features Cindy, King Michael and Weasel. At the launch, they both confirmed they had decided to put their grievances aside.

Sources within the Goodlyfe camp say that Bryan White camped outside the Goodlyfe house in Makindye for two days to apologise to Weasel and Chagga and actually paid them UGX 28M for forgiveness.

Fik Fameica and Sheila Gashumba Romance is getting intense

The growing closeness between Sheila Gashumba and Fik Fameica is a secret no more. The two have been inseparable of late and they are often sighted together at various public events.

The latest is that the portrait of the two is the display picture on Fik Fameica’s  fans WhatsApp group. Are they defining their relationship already?

Other sources also informed us that Sheila Gashumba is at war with socialite Judith Heard because she is not willing to share the budding singer with anyone. In the past, these two stick thin women have brought out the claws over the men that they share including Sheila’s high school boyfriend.

As for her father, a renown city businessman Frank Gashumba, we worry for his sanity as he has constantly been vocal about his daughter’s choice of men.

 

Apparently with all the money and influence he has, he is raising his daughter to get married to a pilot. He claims that since he has raised his her as a literal princess, he expects only Kings to come for her hand. This however might fail him because she apparently is into ragged upcoming musicians with no real income.

Well at least she is still a princess to her daddy.

Bebecool trashes supposed Music battle with Chameleone

There are some unconfirmed reports claiming Bebecool and chameleone are to have a Musical battle place at Kyadondo Rugby Club.

Jose Chameleone has promised to bury Bebe Cool musically on that day.

“I have heard of the battle with my big brother though no one has come forward to put the deal on the table. I am a music dynamo and whoever wants a battle should know that that’s the day you are going to be buried before your disciples!!

And I will put a cross on your grave as I engrave R.I.P.”

He further went on to say that Kampala City Council Authority ( KCCA) shouldn’t restrict them on that day. He says he has a lot of music for his fans.

“I will only enter that anticipated showdown if KCCA agrees not to restrict us to end the concert at Midnight!!

He who runs out of music, goes home.

Talent Africa’s Aly Alibhai to take over Miss Uganda Franchise

Talent Africa boss, Aly Alibhai maybe the saviour the Miss Uganda Franchise had needed for a while.  It is not secret that it has been suffering financial constraints for the past couple of years.

And with that, they have not organized a contest for the last two years. Leah Kagasa who was selected in 2015 continues to reign as the current miss Uganda.

Moles have gathered that Alybhai is currently negotiating with the current franchise holder, Brenda Nanyonjo who  has been running it for seven years.

Alybhai’s wife, Sylivia Namutebi is a former queen. It is said she’ll be in-charge of the franchise and if all goes well.

Nanyonjo however told the media in an interview some time back that she’d not let ago until her ten year reign expires.

Rema dismisses having another child for Kenzo

Rema Namakula and Eddie Kenzo have been an item for quite a while with two daughters together. She however revealed that she has no plans of having another child for him.

Aamal Musuuza who is three years old is about to start school. It is no secret that the two have had trouble in the recent past with rumours of Kenzo moving out of their Seguku home.

When Rema was asked by her fans at Theatre Labonita on Tuesday when she is planning to have another child,she responded, “Not anytime soon.”

She said she was concentrating on her music career, and other things in her life.

“I am still happy with Aaamal,” she stressed.

Singer Bebe Cool might soon start up a charity organization to support broke local celebrities in the entertainment industry.

At the beginning of this year, Radiocity’s DJ Aludah went on twitter to publicly ask for an iPhone X from Bebe Cool.This is after Bebe Cool promised to pay all DJs that play his music. He argued that deejays should be paid in order to play music because that’s how they earn their daily bread.

Well, Aludah was gifted with an IPhone X valued at USD 1000  approximately Shs 3.6M over the weekend.

Now, comedian Salvador has also joined the begging chain and he tweeted.

 

Well as they say,  if you give one child you have to give the rest.

Busoga officials appeal to Daniel Kaluuya to marry a Ugandan girl

British actor Daniel Kaluuya who is of Ugandan origin is having prime time since his outstanding role in the movie, Get Out, which was rewarded with a nomination in the Oscars. Kaluuya also won the best rising star award in the recently concluded BAFTA awards.

Kaluuya’s family hails from Kayunga, Busoga.

While he enjoys massive success in Hollywood, officials in Busoga have reportedly sent him an appeal to return to Uganda and find a woman here.

According to Busoga Kingdom’s minister of tourism, Hellen Namutamba, “The Kingdom has sent officials to talk to the star about marriage.”

“He is one of us and we are proud of him. We want him to keep our culture strong. That’s why we want him to find a Ugandan woman,” she added.

Kaluuya is one of the actors in Black Panther that has smashed all-time box office records.

Mc Daggy Nyce to replace Douglas Lwanga on NTV’s the beat show

After Douglas Lwanga left NTV, the void has not an easy to fill! To begin with, the Serana based station introduced Esco MC on NTV The Beat for a few days. Later on, Crysto Panda took the reins before he was joined Sheilah Gashumba. Well, many thought, the duo would do the job!

However, rumours making rounds indicates that event MC, Daggy Nyce will soon be unveiled as the host of the popular music show!

It seems to be getting real as other celebraties have started congratulating him.

Ziza Bafana speaks about his drug free life

Zip Bafana gives meaning to the saying “easy come,  easy go”. The raggga artist who hit the scene with songs like “pomini pomini” and “joker” is rumored to be the fastest fading artist.

He came out on social media to make a statement that he is healing from his drug dependence and is going to bounce back after rehabilitation.

A few years ago,  the fell off stage during a performance admittedly because the drugs had over powered him.  During this period, it was said that he was in a secret relationship with bukedde presenter Fifi.

Spice Diana And the flying wig: Real or publicity stunt

Singer Spice Diana Aka Hajara Namukwaya has never fodder for the news In recent times.

Earlier this month,she appeared on NTV’s Mwasuze Mutya and insisted she had got 32 points at A Level. This has given her so much hype that she has banked it by releasing a song for it.

Now the latest is the mystery of the flying wig.

While appearing on BBS Terefayiina during “Dj Buteerevu” show hosted by Dj Shan, Spice Diana’s fake hair fell off her head   on a live TV show amidst her freestyling performance.

In the video, Spice Diana is seen trying to cover her almost bald head as she runs off the set.

After all the wigs she has put on in her energetic performances you would think she has learned to secure a wig.

Former Goodlyf manager Emma Carlos is a wanted Man

Emma Carlos parted ways with Goodlyfe crew over fraud. He had been working with Makindye based music group since last year in August.

The latest is that Emma Carlos is being accused by  a Promoter from Busia only identified as Brian for  swindling Shs 1.5M for a show. He alleges that he had booked Weasel to perform last weekend.

He claims he paid cash to Emma and was issued a receipt in the names of Twinkle promotions,a company that is owned by Emma Carlos.

According to the promoter, he has opened a case file at Old Kampala police station and Emma Carlos is on a wanted list.

Speaking to Galaxy FM ,Emma Carlos confirmed that he had left Goodlyfe because the “kitchen” had become too small for all managers  to survive

Weasel releases a Radio tribute song “Tokyayitaba”

Weasel who was part of the Goodlyf crew officially released the much anticipated tribute song to his fallen singing partner Mowzey Radio.

The song is titled ‘Tokyayitaba’, loosely translates as “you don’t talk anymore”. Weasel expressed how he is missing his brother and also  the moments they spent together while the vocalist was alive.

Weasel performed the song at Theater La Bonita where he and Radio were the main stars on the Ebonies’s weekly ‘Music Tantal’ night.

The singer will also premiere some of his other new projects to cement his place in the industry as a solo artist.

Popular traditional healer Maama Fiona is no stranger to drama especially in love issues.
Speaking about Valentine to Journalists at Water Front Beach, Entebbe, Mama Fina said she doesn’t celebrate the day because every day in her life is lovers day.

She said her man, Ssegujja can afford to bankroll her trips to any country for vacation. “I love him because he has the financial ability to show me love. The day he runs out of money, I will dump him. It means he will have become lazy. I don’t entertain lazy men,” she said.

Mama Fiina was widowed when her husband major kiggundu was murder in a shoot out in late 2016. She married her new man last year.

Known for long as the official side dish of FUFA president Moses Magogo, she became the main woman.  She officially introduced Magogo to her parents late last year. Dellah would accompany the Fufa President to several events including the 2016 World Cup in Brazil. Before her, Magogo was married with three children before he got hitched to Dellah. However as a Muslim man so he still has two other slots.

DJ Karo

Cedric Babu’s marriage to Alison Gallagher the mother of his boys collapsed after DJ Karo (real name Carol Kisukye) emerged. Gallagher cried on social media calling Karo a home wrecker but Cedric and Karo ignored her antics making it official by visiting her parents in January.

Spice Diana hits studio to record “32 points” song

Hajara Namukwaya aka Spice Diana is good at taking advantage of situations. Days after her out of range 32 points became the talk of the town, she has now adopted the tag line and actually working on a song along those lines.

The singer who was performing for her fans in Iganga went clad in a black Uganda T-shirt with a cap all bearing her magic number, 32.

Her popular song “anti kale” was a also based on her run in with police at the Kampala city carnival last year.

She was set to perform but was beaten to pulp by security before she got there.  This inspired the song which was the headline of her just concluded concert.

At this point everyone could use 32 points at A level.

Black Panther breaks local box office records

Black Panther opened at number one with a record-breaking performance, which is currently estimated at $117 million by Sunday 5pm. picking up a muscular $25.2 million in Thursday preview showings. And $71 million on Friday .The comic-book adaptation has stopped on that it has smashed the Domestic (Uganda) box office weekend record set by Fast and Furious.

Ugandan Born Kaluuya wins british film Raising star award

Ugandan born British actor Daniel Kaluuya has won the BAFTA Rising star award for his stellar performance in horror film Get Out. Kaluuya beat Florence Pugh, Josh O’Connor, Timothée Chalamet and Tessa Thompson to claim the award which was voted for by the public.

The emotional star praised the ‘Rising Star Award’ nominees in his speech as well as thanking his acting mentors and his family for letting him ‘think different.’

“I’ve gone blank. Thank you, Tessa, Tim, Josh and Florence. I feel so privileged to be in your guys’ company. I am a product of arts funding in the UK. I want to thank people who support that mainstream arts and grass roots levels. Thank you for letting me think different. I wasn’t supposed to say that. We break all the rules,” Kaluuya said.

Daniel has also picked up Oscar, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild nominations for his role as Chris Washington in the 2017 horror film.

Nutty Neithan and Latinum to headline club unplugged show

Nutty Neithan and Latinum, will headline stage this Wednesday in what is now Unplugged double trouble show.

The introduction of two acts on the same stage is definitely a departure from this norm, and it appears to be an attempt by the management of Liquid Silk to add flavour to Unplugged.

Nutty Neithan who climbed his way from just songwriter and now w is popular for tracks like “Bakuwe Kyonywa”, “Binkubye,“ “Walk To Work” as well as ”Follow My Rules.”

Singer Latinum is an S.6 graduate but has become a formidable artist in his own right.

The young talent who is know for his distinct dancehall voice is popular among the young audience for tracks like “Ova Kampala,” “Baabo,” “Man Away,” “Some Mi Want” and “Amanya Gange”

It will all go down at Liquid Silk Naalya.

Sheebah Epic clapback to an Instagram troll. You won’t believe what she said!

Sheebah Karungi is the definition of “the subtle art of not giving a f**k. From Epic clapbacks to emotional rants she does it all so flawlessly. Recently, a troll(Ssentamu Daniel) on Instagram called her a prostitute.

“Sheebah is a prostitute,” wrote the fan against a picture shared by the music star.

Obviously enraged, she replied with a statement insinuating that if she is a prostitute, the fan’s father is one of her clients.

“I can see your father couldn’t keep a secret,” she wrote.

That may be a lesson to people of the internet when coming for Sheebah.  His 15 minutes of fame were over before they begun.

Douglas Lwanga struggling to fit in at NBS

Douglas Lwanga is not having a good time at his new station, NBS TV.

The station has  failed to create a show for him. According to sources, they are grappling with a set of different ideas but have still failed to zero down on one since there are just too many entertainment show hosts on the station.

Last week, he appeared alongside Fabiola on the new show, KatchUp and it was said he would work alongside her. Latest we gather is that he will be working alongside Kats on After 5.

There is also an effort to find him a spot over the weekend.

That is how much they are struggling to make him fit in.

Douglas moved from NTV recently where he allegedly wanted a pay rise. When he left, NBS quickly signed him. Maybe they didn’t think it through.
