Diamond Platnumz in more drama as woman dumps child at his home

Diamond Platnumz trouble is to about to end as a new woman has come up claiming he fathered her child and has since neglected her.
The woman only identified as Salaama  dumped the infant at Diamond’s gate when he was in Tanzania for a cousin’s wedding.  It is believed that Salama’s main target was Zari, as she sought to gain some mother to mother sympathy from Zari, who has two children with Diamond.

Eyewitnesses say

Residents say that the woman on several occasions came to Diamond’s house but he refused to give her attention which led to her eventual action.
They also say that on one occasion he gave her some money to use as transport to meet his manager at their Wasafi records office but she never went.
Her whereabouts are currently unknown after she left the baby behind.

Snoop Dogg wants to do gospel music in 2018

Snoop Dogg the Original rap master wants to go into gospel music come 2018.

This is the time to be making New year’s resolutions and some people are more serious than others. The 46-year-old star has been on the Hip hop and RnB scene for close to 20 years. Now he wants to try something new in 2018.

He told Billboard: “I have always wanted to try Gospel. This may surprise some people but all I gotta say is get ready for some good for your soul music in 2018! Ya know I’m always cookin’ up something. I’ll have some new projects for y’all in the New Year.”

We must remember that D.O.G.G decided to become rastafarian and even changed his named to Snoop Lion few years ago.

he revealed this while talking about his recent music video for ‘My Last Name’, which was a tribute to his wife Shante Broadus.

 “Boss Lady has held me down since day one. She’s always there for me and our beautiful kids. This video was just a visual tribute of the love we’ve shared for decades.”

Snoop announced his 16th studio album, ‘Make America Crip Again’, in October.

Explaining his album title, Snoop said: “Certain people feel like we should make America ‘great again,’ but that time they’re referring to always takes me back to separation and segregation, so I’d rather make America Crip again.

 Sheila Gashumba, 23-year- older daughter of motor mouthed Frank Gashumba has a new man and we are seriously nervous for her.

Frank Gashumba has constantly gassed about his daughter’s status. The has on several occasions threatened to jail BROKE AND USELESS BOYS come close his daughter. The Gashumba Patriarch is about to choke on his words.

The NTV presenter has been seen in the company of a tall dark slender guy recently who is apparently the teenager behind her glow . The young man has been identified as Deus Ndugwa commonly known as Grenade Deus, who is an “upcoming” singer.

This boy must be a real grenade as he as been linked to socialities Judith Heard and Sue O’chola who are almost 3 times his age.

The Evidence

During the festive season, the two were spotted kissing like no body’s business Sky lounge. The two were also  previously seen hand in hand at the launch of Coke studio at Fame lounge, Deejay Roja and Slick Stuart mixtape party and the Geosteady concert.
We wonder if Mr Gashumba has got wind of the affair or he is still drowned in his recent arrest mess.

Today we have got to look back at Countdown of Celeb love dramas of 2017.

6. Winnie Nwagi

Winnie Nwagi’s love drama is straight from Nigerian Movie as she recently took to Snapchat to air out all her dirty laundry. First it was the case of the negligent Baby daddy named Josh who showed “fake love” to her daughter on the graduation yet never paying any bills. Then it was her boyfriend fellow artiste General Czarbu who beat her to a pulp and destroyed property. This girl may need Maama fiina ASAP.

5. Eddy Kenzo and Rema

 

The story of this long standing couple maybe the sudden fame Kenzo achieved after he won his BET Award. Sources say he moved out of their home in seguku to avoid Rema. Well other friends say that the two have grown distant over time maybe because he is seeing better things out there. Kenzo however recently lashed out to the media claiming their relationship is strong as ever. Time only can tell.

4. Kansiime and Ojok

This year has not been a comedy in Kansiime’s love life. The Mukiga woman who made it far and wide saw her marriage crumble before her eyes. It is revealed that the comedian and her husband whom she fondly refered to as the dark chocolate are no more because of her failure to bear him children after over four years of marriage. Their breakup rumor caused media frenzy until she confirmed it in a facebook live chat.

3. The Shongas

You may remember the butt kissing pictures or the Lavish wedding that made most girls green with envy. One year down Dorothy went on social media accusing Herbert of using her money to cheat on him with the PR of their club. Long story short, the club is closed and the two are no more.

For long she has been known as FUFA president Moses Magogo’s official side chick and has seen more daylight than his wife of 3 kids. Well, she is side chick no more after lavish pictures of him on a bended knee surfaced on social media proposing to her and subsequently marrying her in a colorful kwanjula ceremony. Some girls have learned this game.

We could write a book about this drama series but for the lack of space. These two have been tabloid feeder for the better part of 2017 which is why we crown them number 1.

It all started with Zari giving birth for her 28 year old boo for the second time in less than a year which spilled into this year. With Zari’s constant absence the Chibu sought solace in video vixen Hamisa Mobeto and incidentaly got her pregnant. The whirlwind of social media attention has followed them since. From Diamond denying the pregnancy, then blaming the devil for confusing him, then the constant back and forth from the two women’s camps constantly firing shots has been nothing but entertaining.

We will keep an eye out for the next year’s drama.

Kampala’s New Don Bahati to Keep up Semwanga’s legacy

There is a new money bags in town called Don Bahati who swears to keep his dear friend’s legacy alive.

Ssemwanga who was the president of the rich Gang passed away in a South African hospital in May this year where he had been admitted in a coma for several days after he suffered a stroke.

The South Africa based Ugandan businessman and socialite has revealed that he and Ivan Semwanga were very close and is organizing a party in his honor.

Don bahati in his own words.

“After Ivan Ssemwanga’s death, people started asking what would become of the lavish parties he had been hosting. It is then that I vowed that I would carry on his legacy. I am here to make the Rich Gang party possible.” He told journalists on in a press conference.

The party named “money and Power” will be defined by pompous displays of wealth just like semwanga used to do.

“I want to make it rain,” he added. “I will be giving away several goodies including phones, money and I will top it all off with an open bar.”

The party will be held for the first time on Thursday, December 28 at Club Guvnor and entrance is 50K.

The Pineapple Ciroc pool party took place on Friday 22 December headlined by the one and only Skales.

Skales, known for hits like I am for Real, Shake Body and My Baby promised Ugandans a memorable show and he did not disappoint one bit.

The entertainment was served from early in the evening, as disc spinners Xzyl and Slick Stuart gave life to the party before performances from artistes including Ykee Benda, Vinka, and UK-based Angelina, all as partiers enjoyed VIP treatment sipping on cocktails by the pool.

News reaching us is that Beenie Gunter currently working on a collabo with dancehall artiste, Nigerian Star Skales.

Nigerian musical artiste, Skales recently gave a memorable performance to the Ugandan crowd at Silver springs poolside.

Beenie is the star of the hit song “Tubayo” that has had its rounds on Djs turntables.

According to Beenie Gunter, they are doing a remix for the song “Pon Mi”.

Excited Beenie shared the news with us, but didn’t divulge more details. He only asked us to ‘watch the space’

Are you ready for a spice Diana concert?

Singer Spice Diana is set to entertain her music fans in her first ever music concert on 2nd February at Front page Hotel in Namasuba.

She will then move to Geogina Gardens in Lubya on 3rd and finally,  on 4th at Lido beach, Entebbe.

Spice Diana is the star of Songs like “loving me” and Njabala with Music Trio B2C.

She says she is excited after waiting for this long, “I feel like it’s a dream come true, and I can’t wait to see all my loyal fans.”

Spice has had quite an eventful year so far. During the Kampala City carnival, she was beaten by police she went for next performance.
On 21 December, she narrated on Facebook howwas forced to perform on gun point in Kiruhura.
It should be noted that same day, singer Fille Mutoni will also hold her concert at golf course hotel, Kampala.

We will see how that goes.

White porridge was served alongside the array of alcohol but if you want to imagine the kind of hangover that comes with that, don’t!

Abryanz jailed over ASFAs debt

Brian Ahumuza of the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards (ASFAs) has been detained at Jinja road police station for failing to pay a shs13 million debt.

Abryanz was recently called out by Tycoon Jack Pemba for breach of contract.

He was taken to police by Garage Group Limited, an events management group owned by media personality Brian Mulondo.

Abryanz contracted them as the 2016 ASFAs events managers at a cost of shs20 million. but only paid shs5 million after the event.

The balance was never paid even after the just concluded event prompting Brian to take legal action.

After being dragged to Jinja Road Police station a few weeks back, he paid an additional Shs2 million but never paid more even though he promised to.

Until he pays the remaining shs13 million balance, he remains in police custody.

Don Zella says she was betrayed by Spark TV

Don Zella is green with envy after Spark TV presenter Zahara Toto was seen at Zari’s All White party.

She  had apparently signed a contract with Spark TV to only cover her Gal Power party.

Upon seeing the All White party footage Don Zella took to social media and called out Spark TV.

“Spark TV, you are the main sponsor of this event but it’s so disappointing you have breached my contract,” she posted.

Don zella’s followers are also not loyal

Diffrent people who are incidentally her followers responded saying;

“You can’t just have a function on the same date and time with her royal highness (Zari),” Mackena Angelo’s Patra, a follower commented.

Henry Katinda said “Nalongo Don zolo, comparing yourself to Zari is like comparing Bukkede TV to CNN”

Juliana kanyomozi gives out 1 million shillings to a lucky fan

Uganda’s all time favorite song bird Juliana kanyomozi celebrated an early Christmas with her fans.

And the winner is

Julianna  held a contest where a one Nalubwama Christine emerged winner of Ugx 1 million.

This comes as part of the singer’s celebrations to mark hitting the 1 million mark on Facebook.

She  gave away the prize on facebook in a live video saying;

“It’s not been easy picking one person out of all of you because I love you all. But well… congratulations to Nalubwama Christine on winning the 1,000,000/=. Congratulations to us again on reaching this milestone.”

Juliana now becomes the most liked Ugandan musician on Facebook and has the facebook verified check mark.

Hellen Lukoma, Leila Kayondo BFF-ship over?

Fading Singers Leila Kayondo and Hellen Lukoma have been for the longest time the best of friends. They were seen hanging out together in almost every bar  making them Kampala’s ultimate party girls.

Leila is said to have got issues with her man SK Mbuga and eventually dumped for their party habits. After many warnings and a few slaps Leila refused to let go of the friendship until Mbuga walked away.

lately the two  are rarely seen even in the same spot. In a recent interview, Hellen confirmed that they are no longer in touch “I am busy these days. And I want think she is busy as well.” she said.

Well, for what its worth, Leila should have held on to her man instead.

Maro busted is Stolen Car Scandal

Being a celebrity is tough work as singer Maro has recently learned.

The smooth sing sensation hasbeen busted after it has been revealed that he sold his car, a Rav 4 and claimed it had been stolen.

Few days ago, the singer went on Facebook and alleged that his car had been stolen from a parking in Kololo.

Maro might be having serious  money problems because he apparently he wanted to hide it from his wife.Sometimes men can be dumb.

Maro graduated with a degree in Business studies few years back from Makerere University and has been off the music scene for a while. Maybe its high time he acted on that degree of his for some extra dime.

 

Skales in Uganda ahead of pool party concert.

Skales “the booty language” star is in the country ahead of the Ciroc Frost and Pineapple Pool party happening on Friday at the Silver Springs Hotel Poolside.

In his words

“This is my first time in Uganda. I’m trying to have a fun time and something memorable I can take back home. Basically I’m here to entertain my fans,” Skales said upon touch down at Entebbe Airport on early Tuesday morning.

Uganda girls are excited to speak the booty language in tongues for Skales. It is also alleged that he may grace the Girl power party organized by Zari’s arch Rival Don zella hence jetting in as early as Tuesday.

The pool party organised by UK based promoter Mz Shan will also have local entertainers.

 

 

 

Eddy Kenzo interviews, Music banned from NTV and Spark Tv.

BET award winner, Eddie Kenzo has been banned from appearing on NTV and its sister television, Spark TV.

On Thursday afternoon, when Kenzo appeared on The Beat show he apparently got into it with the producer of the show.

When the management of the Station git to know about the unfortunate happening, they concluded to indefinitely suspense all appearance and music of Kenzo on their forums.

This includes NTV, Spark TV, KFM and monitor newspaper. Kenzo gas been known to use his fists to engage all journalists and artists who air out his dirty laundry.

He has allegedly promised to beat up Kasuku of Dembe fm and Tina Fierce of Urban TV’s scoop on scoop.

Up coming Artist Don Atta accuses Fik Fameica of fraud

It is no secret the local Artiste Fik Fameica is one of the fastest growing talent in the country at the moment but this comes at a price.

The kutama star is now involved in a controversy where rising star Don Atta is accusing him of defrauding him of 300ugx

The amount was allegedly given in exchange for a collabo

Don Atta says Fik Fameica asked him for the money as an incentive to record a collabo together. However when it came to shooting the video Fik Fameica denied ever getting the money.

How it came to light

Youngster Don Atta decided to go to press with his accusation but has since been threatened by Fameica’s manager about not seeing a tomorrow in the industry. The manager also added that he is the only authority in charge of receiving money and issuing receipts.

We wonder what is next for this up coming Artist.

Socialite couple The Shongas close down bar after separating.

As we reported before, Socialite couple Herbert and Dorothy Shongas bitterly split shortly after their first anniversary. They say hell hath no fury like a woman sconed… especially if she buys the bread.

The couple was having their issues but on their first anniversary all hell broke loose. Herbert Shonga congratulated his wife on a successful year of marriage on Facebook. She came out accusing him of infidelity with their bar’s PR officer.

Since then, Dorothy Shonga retreated to her home town in Zambia where she has been marinating on what to do next. She arrived intown and closed down their business given she was the majority shareholder and fired all staff.

Herbert has been left out in the cold to fend for himself.

Guys try not to bite the hand that feeds you.

 

What you missed at Blankets And Wine

Blankets and wine has held its own for the past couple of years and has held its own as Uganda’s premium lifestyle event.

As usual, people brought out their hottest fashion and trends to mark the close of another year but as well know, at Blankets and wine, less is always more. You will see thighs, thighs and more thighs not only is it a good sight but also hilarious when the rain pours.

But it did not and the day went on with out a glitch. Performers included Aka dope band, Benon and vampos, Izaya and friends, Bero, Mwiza. ELI and others. It was headlined by Kenyan singing group Sauti sol who brought the house down.
