There is a common saying that even if your tribe does not want you, you are loved elsewhere. This seems to be very true and applicable. After hundreds of Ugandans refused to honor prophet Elvis Mbonye and questioned the reason behind the expensive dinner that was being organized for him, the people of Angola decided to show them how it is done.<\/p>\n

The famous prophet made his way to Angola, where he had been invited by Tony Calado, profeta de Fe (The prophet of faith) to share and preach the gospel. If you did not see the pictures, I am here to tell you that he was given the welcome of a king, and taken straight to the VIP airport lounge.<\/p>\n

The prophet was given the honor and respect, and women lined up, dressed in traditional African print to sing and welcome him, whereas others laid down leaves for the prophet to walk on. He then passed through in a white sleek suit and a white tie.<\/p>\n

They held a campaign of prophetic explosion, and various people gathered with their families, to receive blessings. Angola indeed felt blessed to have two great prophets with them at the same time.<\/p>\n

Prophet Elvis is one of Uganda\u2019s most treasured religious icons and not leaving behind, fashion icons. He will then be travelling back to Uganda and many of his flock have vowed to give him the welcome he deserves. We hope that they can beat Angola.<\/p>\n
