All African Music Awards (AFRIMA) was held in Nigeria this week. Although majority of the winners where from West Africa, we also got an award of our own. Something to celebrate about.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, we were represented among millions of the greatest African musicians, artistes, producers, and dancers. They put our name on the map once again. The Triplets Ghetto Kids.<\/p>\n

When they received the awards<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

This has really been a big year for the Triplets Ghetto Kids, and like I told you, it looks like they are not stopping. They are on their way to that bright future. They have just gotten an AFRIMA Award for \u201cBest African Dancers\u201d. They posted on their face book;<\/p>\n

\u201cAll our beloved friends and family. Congratulations to you all for the dedication you have shown, by always getting practically involved and this time you have made it possible for us your favorite African dance group to be the 2017 AFRIMA \u201cBest African Dancers.\u201d We could never do this without you our well-wishers.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

They also shared a clip of the time they were announced as winners, on their page. These children are evidence that no situation is permanent, and of the lengths of the earth to which talent can take you. They have also still stayed in school, and will continuously be a role model for many of the Children in Uganda who want to give up now.<\/p>\n
