HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION REQUESTS FOR BETTY’S RELEASE<\/h5>\n

The Uganda Human Rights Commission has requested the police to release the member of parliament so that she can go and get treatment. Mulago hospital has however constantly insisted that it has the capacity to treat Nambooze.<\/p>\n

“…the commission therefore requests for your urgent intervention to ensure that MP Nambooze\u2019s rights are respected and that she is released so that she can … travel to to receive treatment,\u201d a part of the letter written by the chairperson Uganda Human Rights Commission Read.<\/p>\n
