As their #ThisTaxMustGo campaign gains nationwide momentum, there has been silence from the musicians that endorsed President Yoweri Museveni in their campaign song, \u2018Tubonga\u00a0Naawe.<\/em>\u2018<\/p>\n While their leaders, Jose Chameleone and Bebe Cool were hesitant to comment on this story, the others that we talked to said they \u201cdon\u2019t mind\u201d the social media tax despite it eating into their online audiences.<\/p>\n Upon releasing her new album \u2018BitsAndPieces\u2019<\/em> last week, Juliana Kanyomozi went live on Facebook and despite having over 1 million followers on her page, less than 10,000 were watching.<\/p>\n The songbird, however, like the rest, didn\u2019t seem moved.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was purely business for me. I don\u2019t have political motives or affiliation. Music is my party.
