When MTN Uganda is in a place, they takeover completely. The entire place is covered in their theme color; yellow. On Sunday, the entire place was painted in yellow during the 14th edition of the MTN Marathon.<\/p>\n

The turn up was massive this year, and various races were carried out. These include 5km, 21km, 10km, 42 km and many others. The Persons With Special needs were also taken care of, in various races such as wheelchair race.<\/p>\n

There were also some loyal faces of the marathon, like this gentleman who came along with his sheep, and crossed the finish line.<\/p>\n

People showed up with their various kits, dressed ready for the races. They entered the marathon in teams from organizations and also individually. There was tight security provided by our very own Uganda Police, and a constant supply of water from the water man dressed in white, and Rwenzori bottled water company.<\/p>\n

Artists, including Jose Chameleon entertained the crowds, and made the event more than fun. There was also entertainment from various comedians.<\/p>\n

Various Ugandans took up the challenge presented before them, and ran for different causes that would make better the situations in the country, example reducing the risk of cancer among children. The winners were awarded,\u00a0 prize money, and the top participants given medals for their performance.<\/p>\n
