Yesterday, as I sat on my bed, ready to catch the latest news on NTV Tonight, I was amazed by the presenters that introduced themselves.<\/p>\n

Alongside Flavia Tumusiime was not Khamadi. It was however a young girl who was going to read the news in his place. Her name is Juliet Ithungu. She was audible, happy, and seemed totally excited to have been given this opportunity.<\/p>\n

In a move to highlight the relevance and importance of the Universal Children’s day, NTV Uganda invited youngsters to handle the news on NTV at one, NTV the beat and NTV Tonight.<\/p>\n

UNIVERSAL CHILDRENs DAY<\/h4>\n

United Nations Universal Children\u2019s Day was established in 1954 and is celebrated on November 20th each year to promote international togetherness, awareness among children worldwide, and improving children’s welfare.<\/p>\n

According to various documentation, the theme for this year, 2017, is “Kids Takeover”. \u00a0On this year’s celebrations,\u00a0UNICEF has invited various \u00a0children who are playing key roles in media, politics, business, sports and entertainment to use this opportunity to voice their concerns about their fellow peers who do not recieve these previledges.<\/p>\n
