The discouraging part however, is that our favorite rides tend to do certain things to their customers that completely put them off. If you are new in the country, do not miss out on taking a bike. However, here are some of their tricks you should watch out for.<\/p>\n<p><strong>No Balance.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One quick tip is to always carry lose change in your handbag. In case you have a big note, most times bikes who drop you in places without shops tend to claim they do not have change. In that case, you are forced to either forego a 1000 shilling if you give him 2000. Mark my words; If you dare to ask for the pricing to a particular place, from a Boda Boda rider, there is an 80% chance that the one you will get is higher. You will appear new and ignorant, and thus that will be a proper exploitation opportunity present.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Long Distance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you are new in the city, the distance will always be longer on a Boda Boda. Once you look confused, they will use the longest route to the destination, and when asked, claim that they were dodging traffic. In the end you will end up paying the price.
